While staying at Fort Wilderness we will be visiting Blizzard Beach. Wondering if we can wear our swimming shoes on any of the water slides there? You can wear them in the wave pool. Thanks!

    Hi Judy!!!

We love Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park!!!

Yes, you can wear water shoes while at the water park.  There is even a section on the Blizzard Beach website (please click on previous link) that recommends you wear water shoes to the water park.  This is partially because of the amount of walking that is done while at the water park and the possibility of having to walk up steps.  The ground can also get quite warm during the day time and water shoes will definitely help with your feet not burning!

The only attraction that you will probably be asked to remove your shoes is Summit Plummet.  You will be asked to take off your shoes and hold them against your chest while you ride the slide.  Other than that ride, you will be able to enjoy your water shoes the entire day!!

Wishing you a magical, splish splashing time!!!
