Well, hello there, Kelly. Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney!
I love how you think. I'm always searching for the best deal on my next vacation to the Walt Disney World Resort. Whether it's maximizing the benefits of my
Disney Rewards Visa Card, periodically
checking the Special Offers page of the site, or a combination of both, I'm always down to save wherever I can. Let's see if we can figure out some savings together by answering your question.
While I don't have access to your specific reservation to check to see if you can apply an offer to it, there should be a very simple way to find out. If there's a Special Offer that you believe applies to your existing reservation, navigate to the specific offer's page and look to the right side of the page. Under the blue box, there should be bold text that says, "Have an Existing Reservation?" Click on the link to "apply this special offer" and follow the prompts to see if the offer can be applied. You can also
reach out to a friendly Cast Member on the Existing Reservations line at the resort. Just note that since you are making changes to a reservation less than 30 days out, it may not be possible for you to apply a discount at this time, and
there may be change fees that are applied should you change your reservation. But it doesn't hurt to check to see if it's an option and then make the best decision for you and your travel party! Regarding
golf cart rentals, Special Offers aren't usually available, but it never hurts to check when you're at the resort.
Even though it's been the Halloween season at the resort since August, it'll
officially be spooky season when you're there in October. Not only does this mean
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will continue to be offered on select nights (a separately ticketed event), but there will be
treats and decorations all around the resort,
especially Magic Kingdom Park. And you'll want to be sure to board a Doom Buggy and tour the
Haunted Mansion, as well as drop in at the Hollywood Tower Hotel by riding in a haunted elevator on
The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. No matter when I'm at the resort, these experiences always make me feel like it's Halloween. And when
the new villains show debuts in Disney's Hollywood Studios in the summer of 2025, and
the new villains land materializes at Magic Kingdom Park in the future, I'm sure those will add to the not-so-spooky vibes as well!
Kelly, have a wonderful visit, and
feel free to send any other questions to me!
Everyone hail to the pumpkin song,Matt
