I will be staying are Fort Wilderness and I want to know if we can visit or go to any other Walt Disney resort. Can we go at the top of the tower to see the fireworks ? Can we go to swim in any resort pool ?

    Bonjour Johanne,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us a question!

I have some great news for you: you can absolutely visit the other Walt Disney World Resort hotels, even if you aren’t staying there during your upcoming vacation. I absolutely love exploring each of these unique Resorts, from their shopping to their often incredible dining options.

As for the two specific examples you gave in your answer, you can absolutely enjoy a meal at California Grill (or a drink in its lounge, availability permitting) at Disney’s Contemporary Resort in order to watch Magic Kingdom Park’s fireworks spectacular from its observation deck. Unfortunately, Top of the World Lounge at Bay Lake Tower at Disney’s Contemporary Resort is reserved for Disney Vacation Club members only.

As for the different pools that are located in each Walt Disney World Resort hotel, those are usually restricted to that Resort’s Guests. That being said, I’m sure that you’ll love the pools at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, including the 67-foot-long corkscrew waterslide at the Meadow Swimmin’ Pool!

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions. Et n’oubliez pas que vous pouvez également me poser des questions en français à la Tribune des mamans des parcs Disney!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
