Hello, we will be staying at fort wilderness here in a few weeks and do the cabins have a blender in the kitchenette? I have someone who has dietary needs. Thank you!

    Hi Lacey!

Welcome to planDisney!  You're almost there as my friend Princess Tiana would say. . .almost to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation that is!  If you're anything like me, I like to spend this final week planning my outfits, packing my mouse ears, and finalizing those last little details!

Lacey, I think you'll find The Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort to be the perfect home away from home and rustic retreat from the hustle and bustle of the theme parks.  The larger accommodations are perfect for bigger families or groups that want some extra space to spread out.  The cabins also come with a fully equipped kitchen.  I found some conflicting information online about what a "fully equipped" kitchen meant so I channeled my inner Mama Odie and tried to dig a little deeper for you!  I had a wonderful call with a Cast Member who reached out directly to the resort and shared that while blenders are not typically found in the kitchen, one should be available upon your request.  I would also encourage you to check out information on how the Walt Disney World Resort dining team accommodates special dietary needs ahead of your arrival if your party requires any meal accommodations at restaurants during your stay.  Some requests can be accommodated at restaurants once you arrive, but others may require advance notice and planning such as four or more food allergies, pureed meals, or a medically-restrictive diet.

While you are on vacation, I hope you take time to enjoy all of the many recreation activities offered at Fort Wilderness.  Whether you want to go horseback riding, fishing, biking, or kayaking there are so many options to fill your day!  If you're looking to spend an evening relaxing after a busy day in the parks, definitely check out Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long and then head to the beach to watch the Happily Ever After fireworks display from Magic Kingdom Park!

Lacey, I hope you enjoy a wonderful trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth!  Remember that you've got a friend in me here at planDisney and we hope you stop by again if you have any other vacation planning questions!

    See ya real soon!
