Howdy, John! Thanks for moseying over to planDisney with your question! Let's explore the wilderness!
My family absolutely loves
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, although I must admit that our visits have always been in the rustic and oh-so-adorable
cabins. One day I'd surely enjoy a chance to set up an RV and experience a campsite, though. It looks like so much fun!
However, my friend and
past planDisney panelist Andrea U. is an avid RV'er, and her family recently spent some time at "the Fort" in their very own campsite. Lucky for us, she shared some info on the masking policies in effect when she was there! As Disney continues to implement its
safety protocols, masks are required in all public spaces at Fort Wilderness, both indoors and outdoors, including when you're aboard a golf cart. You do not need to wear a mask at your campsite or when you're swimming in one of the pools. As a side note, I do see that the
Meadow Swimmin' Pool will be under refurbishment through May, so you might want to check on the status when you arrive for your stay.
I hope this helps you have a rootin', tootin' good time at Fort Wilderness, John. Please come back and see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
