We are going to be staying at Fort Wilderness Campsites this Dec. We have a Premium Campsite reservation, and I was curious if there was one loop better than the other to ask for when checking in, thats closer to the transportation options.

    Vaughan:

You're going to find Fort Wilderness your home away from home.

The Premium Loops exit primarily onto the main street that runs through the middle of Fort Wilderness. Internal bus stops are within a comfortable 3-minute walk from most sites. However, if you're looking for a loop that is close to the fort's main Outpost Bus Stop, you'll want to ask for Loop 1100. It is still a 10- to 15-minute walk to the front of the park, but is the closest Premium Loop, in my opinion.

I recommend being specific with why you are requesting a specific loop so that Disney can offer you the best campsite. Let them know you're looking for a loop and a site with close proximity to the entrance of the fort or to a bus stop. Just be aware that the buses run early and late and can be noisy, so asking for a site near transportation can come with a little "noise pollution".

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
