Hello, we are staying at Fort Wilderness Campgrounds in the spring. I know that as a guest I am able to receive packages, but can I ship them as well? Do they need to be prepaid labels? Can I ship from UPS, USPS, or FedEx or only a specific carrier?

Welcome, Michael. I’m so excited you found your way to us at planDisney!

While most people want to fully unplug and enjoy their vacation at the Walt Disney World Resort, sometimes the real world comes sneaking in and demands your attention. Luckily, there’s a touch of the real world available at many Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, so when you need to get things done, you’ll have the resources to do so.

I confirmed with a friendly Cast Member that Front Desk Business Services and Concierge are available at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. This typically means that Guests can ship pre-packed, pre-labeled packages. Shipping carriers can vary depending on what is offered at the time. If you are shipping merchandise purchased at select merchandise locations in the theme parks, you can pay to have those items packed and shipped home right at the checkout counter. In Disney Springs, you can visit the Marketplace Co-Op Shipping Location to ship your Disney Springs merchandise in a similar way.

Since Wi-Fi is available in many locations throughout the resorts and theme parks, there are plenty of places where you can get some work done in a magical atmosphere. One of my absolute favorites is World Celebration Gardens in EPCOT. While it’s not always quiet, there are tables with outlets where you can get some things done before and after enjoying rides, attractions, and festival food booths (when a festival is taking place). You’ll also be able to find some quieter areas around your resort.

Michael, enjoy your vacation, and I hope the real world doesn’t interfere too much! If you have any other questions, I’m here for you!

    Whistle while you work,
    Matt
