Hi, we will be staying at the Fort Wilderness Campgrounds on May 2-7 in our RV. Any suggestions on a loop that the buses or Disney transportion is close to?

Hi Bonnie!  Fort Wilderness is a great place to stay for a visit to Walt Disney World! We have enjoyed the cabins for past trips and have friends who bring their RV and stay for weeks at a time!  It's so friendly and peaceful!

Everyone certainly has their favorite loop when they come.  It also depends on whether you need a pet friendly location or full hook ups etc.  The loops closest to the Pioneer Hall site where you can find a trading post, Trails End restaurant, Hoop Dee Doo Revue and Mickey's Backyard Barbecue, the stables, and the beach and marina are 100, 200, 400, and 700.  They are within walking distance to this location. Loops 600, 800, and 900 are also close to the other Trading Post as well as bus stops.

Many guests enjoy the loops 1500-1900 for the added peacefulness and quiet but they will also be the loops furthest from trading posts, restaurant, and marina and if you end up in the back it is a distance to the bus stops.

Hope this helps!  We love it there!
