Hello! We are staying at the Fort Wilderness campgrounds in June and was wondering if anyone could tell us what the pop-up camper sites are like? Are they over concrete or dirt? Thanks!

    Howdy Crickett!

You can reserve any type of campsite for a pop-up camper.  All of the campsites have been converted to have a concrete parking area for all types of campers.  There is also a sandy area in the back in case you also have a tent to set up.  If you need full hook-up, then you will want to book a Full Hook-Up, Preferred, or Premium site.  Every campsite in Fort Wilderness is in a beautiful tree lined setting.  Click HERE to compare the different campsites.  Every loop has a bus station and comfort station nearby.

We camp in a pop-up when we visit Fort Wilderness and always book a Premium campsite.  They are located closer to the main areas, the lots are longer (to accommodate those huge luxury liners), and they seem to be more quiet since there aren’t a lot of tent campers nearby.  Our pop-up isn’t very sound proof, so we enjoy the peace and quiet when we camp.

    Enjoy the wilderness!
