We are going to be staying at the Fort Wilderness Campground in WDW. We have a full hook up campsite since that was the only site open during our stay. I know we can put two tents on the pad but, will two 8 person sized tents fit?

Hi Gwendolyn! Fort Wilderness is a popular resort and glad you were able to get a reservation there even if it was not your first choice of types.

You can put two tents on any of the sites offered but you will need to realize that one tent will likely be on the concrete part of the pad. The Full Hook-up pads will have the last third be sand making that very easy for a tent while the rest of the pad will be concrete. If you are fortunate you might get a site that has plenty of level area off the concrete where you can erect a tent as well. Loops 1600, 1700, 1800, and 1900 have some wonderful sites for several tents and these are full hookup loops. Add a request to your reservation that you be assigned a site in the 1600, 1700, or 1800 loops and I think you will be fine with the two tents.

Enjoy this great resort and all the amenities it offers. For us the peaceful feeling is what makes this our home for our long stays. Well, also the fact we can bring our four legged members of the family along with us makes this our first choice!
