Howdy, Debbie!
Welcome back to planDisney. I'm so excited you've returned with another great
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question!
It's wonderful to hear that you're gearing up (or may already be on-site) for a rootin' tootin' stay at
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. The only thing better than a trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth is being able to enjoy it with your loved ones, so let's chat about how to maximize your together-time at your
Disney Resort hotels!
Debbie, at the time of writing, parking at the Resort hotels on property is limited to Guests with valid resort reservations, dining reservations, or other Enchanted Extras Collection plans at the resorts. Therefore, it's not guaranteed that you'll be able to park at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort and/or that your family members will be able to park at the campground. In the past, I've had luck driving into resorts to pick up a Guest staying at that property, but this isn't always guaranteed either. I encourage you to utilize the complimentary Walt Disney World Resort transportation options to get between these properties if possible. Alternatively, you could hail a
Disney Minnie Van to quickly whisk you between the resorts, with no transfers, for an extra fee.
Another option would be to book a dining reservation at one of your resorts and enjoy a family meal together. In fact, Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort offers a fantastic family-style dining experience at
Sebastian's Bistro! Oftentimes, you can find last-minute availability at this Table-Service restaurant featuring Caribbean-inspired fare as well as American favorites. The menu is sure to please every palate in your party! Alternatively, your family could try to snag reservations at
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground. This long-time family favorite has been making Guests giggle for generations, and is a must-do for my crew every visit!
Debbie, I hope this information helps you to prepare for a fun-filled family getaway. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to gallop on back to
planDisney again anytime! We're all ears.
See ya real soon,
Lauren
