I will be staying at the Fort Wilderness Campground. Do you know if there are computers (internet access) in the registration centre for use by guests and if so what the charge is? thanks

    Karen:

Although I am a huge fan of the fort, this is probably its one downside for me.

While I was on a trip at Fort Wilderness, I was desperate to get on the internet for my business. There wasn't a "business center" on property like what I'd found at most hotels (you know, with a computer, printer, even a copier). What was available was a small room with stools, tables and high-speed internet cords along with the promise of Wi-Fi (that wasn't working). It was housed in a small building in the porte cachere of the Reception Outpost, not located in the main lobby where you check in like most hotels. (You will probably have to ask for directions.)  As of our last stay, there were no computers available there for use for a fee or otherwise.

The nearest business center is at The Contemporary hotel, just a 10-minute boat ride from the fort. It's open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and you can use its computer for anywhere from $6 for 10 minutes to $20 for an hour.

    Wishing y'all a magical vacation!

My family of 6 appreciates Disney's value! Although Ft. Wilderness is our second home, we've enjoyed the resorts for business, reunions and romantic getaways. For me, Disney also means dining: last count, I'd eaten at 55 restaurants around the World! Learn More About Whitney
