Howdy Beth! I had the opportunity of staying in a Wilderness Cabin last November and this is
truly the epitome of "roughing it" in style!
There is so much to do at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground that I would recommend taking
at least one full day just to explore!
Tri-Circle-D Ranch offers evening carriage and wagon rides, as well as Trots for Tots pony rides for guests ages 2 and older and under 45 inches.
The
Trail's End Restaurant offers an amazing all-you-care-to-eat buffet and there is something so magical about a trip to Crockett's Tavern for a glass of wine while watching your children play at the nearby beach playground. There is a wildly popular dinner show called
Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue that is offered at your resort full of foot-stomping fun for the whole family. Be sure to check on advanced dining reservations online at the above links or call
407-WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.
Meadow Recreation Area's outdoor theater is home to the nightly Chip
'n' Dale "Sing-a-Long" and marshmallow roast, followed by a screening of
a classic Disney movie. Consult the recreation guide provided to you upon check-in at the resort for specific times and details.
Lastly, Meadow Swimmin' Hole is a great way to relax and recharge at the end of your Disney day with a pool area that features a wet
play section for little ones, a large water slide and a whirlpool spa.
May your Disney vacation be practically perfect in every way!
