We are staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins in late October and wanted to know if we can decorate around the cabin for Halloween? Are there any light sockets on the outside of the cabin for plugging in decorations?

Hi Jody! The Fort Wilderness Resort is a great place to stay for your Walt Disney World vacation. We now have a motor coach so we use the campsites but the family loves to stay in the cabins.

Halloween is a very festive time in the campgrounds. It seems like everyone brings their decorations and this makes this resort the most sought after reservation on property for Halloween. You are more then welcome to decorate as well when you stay in the cabins. You will find an outlet on the deck with two plugs that you can use for the decorations. Bring extension cords if needed and a power strip which will allow you to have multiple decorations plugged in at the same time. Just remember to not use things that will damage the cabin and leave everything the way you found it when you leave.

I love that the cabins are now adding their decorations and I can't wait to be there once again for Halloween this year!
