We are going to be staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins in late August. I was wondering if there was anything you suggest we bring that they do not supply you with, such as a tablecloth for the picnic table? Thanks!

    Hi Sandra!

Fort Wilderness is one of my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World.  The beauty of the campground is so relaxing and nice to come "home" to at the end of a busy day in the parks.

Bringing a tablecloth for the picnic table is an excellent idea since they aren't provided for you.  Since the cabins are pretty much like a resort room, you won't need to bring much of anything else besides food for cooking if you decide you would like to eat at the cabin.  If you forget anything, you can most likely pick it up at one of the trading posts.

A fun thing to bring is any kind of decorations for your cabin.  You will see that a lot of guests at Fort Wilderness like to dress up their campsites and cabins with lights and decor.  Last Christmas, we were in a cabin loop that had a competition going on for who could decorate their cabin the best.  Anyone strolling by could vote.  How fun!

    Have a magical day!
