We will be staying at the Fort Wilderness Cabins this June. My husband would like to go dockside fishing with our daughter. Is a fishing license required? Also, if we bring our own equipment instead of renting is there any fee for the fishing?

I am also a fan of fishing and can't wait for my trip in May to test the waters of Fort Wilderness!  Your husband will not need a fishing license to fish the Disney lakes and canals.  You can toss your line in anywhere and test your luck.  They will have bait (worms) for sale but other then that you will not be expected to pay for this recreation at Fort Wilderness.  Please remember that all fishing is strictly catch and release!
