    We are staying at Fort Wilderness Cabins, June 4-11 arriving in Orlando at 3:45pm need a restaraunt close that we can get checked in to dinner and everyone back and to bed at a reasonable time. Any suggestions? Do not want to eat at Trails End.

    Hi, Amy!

    Since you do not want to go to Trail's End, you will have to head to a nearby resort.  Your best bet is actually one of my favorites!  Wilderness Lodge is just a short boat or bus ride away (you pick your transportation, the boat may be a few minutes faster.)

    You can make an Advance Dining Reservation at Whispering Canyon Cafe where they serve up ribs, chicken, and the best chocolate cake around.  Along with great food is such a good time!  This will be a dinner to remember!

    For quick service, you can go to Roaring Fork where they have all your typical quick service fare, plus they will toss a salad to your specifications, or they have daily specials that are usually really good.

    Wilderness Lodge is a gorgeous resort.  It is certainly worth the 20 minute boat ride to get there! 

    I think it is a great idea that you are planning on calling it a night at a decent time so everyone is ready for all the magic that awaits the next day.  Enjoy!
