    I am staying at Fort Wilderness cabins, can I drive from my cabin to the pool, outpost, etc or is driving restricted? Also, can you rent electric carts by the week or is it just daily rentals?

    Hi Dorothy!

    Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground is one of my favorite resorts at Walt Disney World!  Whether you are camping in a tent, RV, or cabin, you are sure to have a wonderful vacation.

    The resort tries to keep the roads as low traffic as possible.  There are very few parking spots for cars at the Meadow's Trading Posts, where the main pool is and there is a time limit to park, I believe 15 minutes.  The best and most fun way to travel around the resort is in a golf cart.  For me, this is a "must do" when staying here.  You can certainly rent them for a week, but there is no price break from the daily rate.  To reserve a golf cart for your vacation, please call (407) 824-2742.  You can reserve a golf cart up to one year in advance.
