    We are staying at Fort wilderness cabins and have a dining reservation in Magic Kingdom at 8 AM on a day when the parks open at 9 AM. We want to take the boat, but it appears the boats do not start running until 8 or 830. Thoughts?

    One of my favorite things to do at Walt Disney World Resort is to dine in a theme park before it opens. There's nothing quite like wandering the walkways of these magical places before they are populated with guests. I'm so pleased that you will be able to experience this at Magic Kingdom Park during your upcoming vacation.

    Now, let's discuss how to get you to your reservation on time. There is a small water launch that begins running a circular route between Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, Disney's Contemporary Resort, and Disney's Wilderness Lodge at 6:45 a.m. daily. (It's always a great idea to confirm with Guest Services at your resort the day before your breakfast reservation that the resort transportation schedule has not changed.) You should board that first boat at your home resort and then disembark at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Walk through Disney's Contemporary Resort to the entrance and then follow the walkway to Magic Kingdom Park. You should be able to reach your early dining reservation on time by following this route.
