Welcome to planDisney, Tom! Thanks for bringing your question here to us today!
I've been answering a bunch of questions about
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campgrounds and each time I answer one of these questions, I get closer and closer to booking a stay. That'll be even more tempting soon as it was
recently announced that the
Cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are going to be revamped and included in the
Disney Vacation Club offerings. As a member, I can't wait to book a stay!
As long as you are following the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules and not doing anything that would cause damage to the property, you are usually welcome to decorate your cabin. When hanging items, you'll want to avoid any products that may leave marks or otherwise adversely affect your accommodations. While I have not seen the decorations of the cabins with my own eyes, I
have seen many pictures, and the decorations really add to the community feeling of this unique resort. If you have any specific concerns, feel free to speak to a Cast Member when you arrive at the resort.
I hope that while you're at the resort you take some time to visit
EPCOT and enjoy the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. While the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival will always be my favorite, the one during the holidays is a close second. Between the
Storytellers around World Showcase, the
Holiday Kitchens, and the
Candlelight Processional, this park is brimming with holiday cheer. And be sure to check out the
Gingerbread Houses around some of the
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels too. Talk about a fun scavenger hunt!
Tom, if you have any other questions,
please reach out to me directly and I'd be happy to find the answers for you. Have a wonderful holiday visit to the
Walt Disney World Resort!
Seeing isn’t believing. Believing is seeing,
Matt
