    We will be staying at Fort Wilderness and want to get ahead of the crowds early on Thursday and Friday. MK on day 1 and HS on day 2. Can anyone suggest the best schedule to take for us to avoid the rush getting to the parks?

     Welcome to planDisney, Michael. I'm so happy you stopped by and even happier to hear you'll be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in just two, short days! There's no place I'd rather be, that's for sure.

     You're going to love staying at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You'll surely have a rootin' tootin' good time! My dear friend and fellow panelist, Veronica, is our resident expert on this unique Disney Resorts Collection hotel, so I consulted with her to get you the best answer to your question.

     On the day of your visit to Magic Kingdom Park, Veronica recommends taking a boat to get to the park. She said that if you have a golf cart, you can park it right at the marina! How convenient is that? The boat service typically begins running an hour to an hour and a half before park opening, but it's a good idea to check about service times the day before. Just stop by the Front Desk to ask. Veronica told me that if timed just right, you may catch a front-row seat to the Electrical Water Pageant on your boat ride back to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort!

     You'll need to hop on a bus to travel to Disney's Hollywood Studios. Buses usually start running an hour before park opening, but again, it's wise to check the schedule the day before. Did you know you can check bus arrival times on the My Disney Experience mobile app? This handy feature has saved my family lots of precious time in the morning! Click on "My Plans" in the app and then click on your Disney Resort hotel information. Tap on "See Bus Times" to check updated statuses for bus arrival times!
