Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Courtney! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
I see that you'll be arriving at the end of March- a beautiful time to be at the Walt Disney World Resort! The weather is temperate and not only will the newest attraction be open at
Disney's Hollywood Studios:
Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway, but you'll be able to catch Epcot in full bloom at the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival.
Besides fun in the parks, I love that you're already planning to experience multiple resorts on your vacation.
To answer your question, while you are NOT able to "pool hop" you are able to enjoy other activities and the first resort I would recommend is already on your list!
Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is an amazing place to spend a day outside of the parks. When you enter the lobby, make sure to
locate the posted Recreation Calendar. It's your guide to all that's happening at the resort that day. When my husband and I visited we were able to Meet a Savanna Guide and learn more about some of the animals on property. Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge also has great dining options. If you're just looking for a quick bite in between activities, check out
The Mara. If you are hoping to sample a wide array of different foods, make a reservation at
Boma- Flavors of Africa... and make sure to eat a famous Zebra Dome!
If you are looking for some other fun, "non-park" related activities, check out
Painting on de' Bayou. For a fee you can join an instructor led painting class at one of my favorite Disney Resort Hotels,
Disney's Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter. Here you can also rent a surrey bike after indulging in those famous beignets!
Courtney, I hope this helps as you are putting the final touches on your upcoming trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Best wishes for an unforgettable vacation.
Lauren
