Hi Jill!
Welcome back to planDisney! As my friend Princess Tiana would say, you're
Almost There. . .almost to your Walt Disney World Resort vacation that is!
Jill, I'm happy to share with you that rideshare services can drop off directly at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park as well as
Disney's Hollywood Studios and
EPCOT. The only time your rideshare would need to utilize the Transportation and Ticket Center for dropping off at a theme park would be when visiting
Magic Kingdom Park. If you are taking a rideshare service on the day you're visiting Magic Kingdom Park, you can take either a
ferry boat or the
Walt Disney World Monorail from the Transportation and Ticket Center to the park entrance.
When I've stayed off-site, we often find using rideshare services to be much quicker than the shuttles from many other hotels in the area. If you're trying to arrive early for rope drop or are hurrying to make a dining reservation, these are great options. I also suggest asking the front desk of your hotel during check-in for more details on the shuttle service they offer. In my experience, this can vary greatly depending on the hotel with some running continuously, some requiring a reservation, and others having limited hours that only operate towards the beginning or end of the day.
Once you arrive at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, I think you're going to love your "walk on the wild side." For our family,
Kilimanjaro Safaris is a must-do attraction each time we visit. I recommend heading there early in the morning as I've often found the animals to be a bit more active before the heat of the day sets in. We also really enjoy all of the entertainment at the park, but especially the
Festival of the Lion King. It's a beautiful and interactive show that my boys love watching time and time again!
Jill, I hope this information is helpful and that you enjoy a fabulous visit to Walt Disney World Resort! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney!
Cheers,
Kristi
