We will be staying the first week of November. We have one minor without a smart device and my wife and I would like to make changes on the Disney App for them during this time. How do I grant my wife access to make changes?

Hello David!  Welcome to planDisney.  I'll be happy to help you with your question about My Disney Experience.

It is a little tricky for me to help you through this forum since I have no way of knowing exactly how you have your account set up.  Based on the information you provided in your question, it sounds like you and your wife each have your own My Disney Experience accounts, and you manage the minor's profile in your account.  If you and your wife have connected through Family & Friends, she should be able to add the minor to her Family & Friends List by choosing "Add a Guest" and then "Find through my connected Guests".  Make sure you have set your Family & Friends List to be shared and not private.  Once connected, your wife will then be able to add anyone in her Family & Friends List to any plans she makes, such as dining reservations, Disney Park Pass reservations or changes, or Lightning Lanes booked with Disney Genie+ service.  Only the manager of the minor's profile (you) can edit the profile information, such as name and birthdate, and manage their MagicBands and tickets.  Another account cannot be assigned to manage the minor's profile.

If your wife needs to be able to have access to the minor's profile beyond making vacation plans, my other suggestion is to have her log in to your My Disney Experience account on her device.  My husband and teens do not have their own accounts, so they login to the My Disney Experience mobile app on their phones using my credentials.  It works out fine for us, although I did need to have a conversation with my teenage son about how just how many cheeseburgers are reasonable to mobile order in one day.

If I misunderstood your question or if you have additional questions, please feel free to write back with a few more details about your situation.  If you need further assistance, give the My Disney Experience tech team a call at (407) 939-4357.  Wishing you a wonderful vacation!
