We will be staying our first night in Disney at Pop Century then transferring the Caribbean Beach resort the next day. Will Disney arrange for our luggage to be transferred or will that be our responsibility??

    Hello, Lori!

This is a fantastic question. My family stayed at three different Walt Disney World Resort hotels during our last vacation in May. Having our 'stuff' transferred between resorts was extremely simple and easy. The morning you are checking out of Disney's Pop Century Resort, you may leave your items with Bell Services. Simply inform them you are transferring over to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort. They will issue you a claim ticket you will then show Bell Services at your new Resort Hotel to redeem your luggage. Resort Hotel luggage transfers happen during the afternoon, and should arrive safely by late afternoon. Luggage is not permitted on the Walt Disney World Resort transportation buses, so if you do wish to make the transfers yourself and you do not have a vehicle with you a cab rental could be another option for you.

Wishing you and your family a magical vacation, Lori!

Hi, I’m Rachel! I am a “boy mom” to two rowdy little men at home and married to my high school sweetheart. I am fortunate enough that my prince charming loves all things Disney just as much as I do! For me, planning a trip to Walt Disney World can be just as magical as being there. It brings our family together as we dream, plan, and count down the days. I would be honored to help plan your visit and share in your family’s very own magic! Learn More About Rachel
