We are staying at Emerald Island resort and our whole family (14 ) will be purchasing magic bands. I read that having a magic band will also allow you to enjoy extra magic hours. Is this correct? Thank you Terri

Welcome to the wonderful world of the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Terri!

How exciting that you're headed to Walt Disney World Resort with your entire family. You're going to create so many memories together and experience so much magic! Have you considered getting Memory Maker for your upcoming trip? You'll be able to get unlimited downloads of all the amazing pictures that the Disney PhotoPass Photographers take of all of you together. That way, no one has to miss out on being in the big group shot because you can leave all the photography to the professionals!

Your family sounds just like mine because I can't help myself from browsing ShopDisney in the weeks leading up to my vacation to see if there are any new MagicBands I want to add to our collection. Your MagicBand alone won't gain you admission to Extra Magic Hours, that's one of the benefits of staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel, but I still think getting MagicBands for your family is still a really smart idea. That way, you can easily access your theme park admission and FastPass+ selections by tapping your wrist to the touch point and you don't have to worry about getting everybody's tickets out all the time. That means more time for attractions, shopping, and Dole Whips!

I hope this answers your question, Terri, and please let us know if there's anything else we can do to help you plan your magical vacation.
