    Hello. We will be staying at DW resort for one week. We are spending my daughter's birthday at Magic Kingdom. What special things do they do at the park for someone celebrating their birthday there?

    Hi Krista!

    I can't imagine a more magical place to spend a birthday than Disney's Magic Kingdom Park. While every day at Walt Disney World Resort feels like a celebration, birthdays are extra special!

    First, make sure to pick up a complimentary birthday button when you check in your resort. Your daughter will be amazed at how many "Happy Birthday" greetings she'll receive from Cast Members, (and even fellow guests), when she wears her special button. Cast Members go out of their way to make birthdays special for their guests - you might even experience some unexpected magic during your visit!

    Since you'll be spending her big day in the Magic Kingdom, how about adding a little magic with a dessert party? Tiana's Riverboat Party is a fairly new offering during the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade. Held on the Liberty Square Riverboat, Princess Tiana and Prince Naveen host an Ice Cream Social and VIP Parade Viewing Party each afternoon at 2:30pm. You'll have a prime spot to watch the parade as you enjoy your ice cream treats, then head out for a river cruise with your royal hosts!

    Another way to celebrate is to arrange to have a gift delivered to your resort room from Disney Floral and Gifts. From small treats to an awesome In-Room Celebration, they have lots of choices to make your little princess feel celebrated and special.
