    We are only staying at DW for 3 days and are planning to go during the Star Wars event in Hollywood Studios. We would like to stay at a deluxe hotel and are considering AKL. Can you tell us which resort is the most convenient (fastest) to get to HS?

    Hi, Linda!  While the Animal Kingdom Lodge is a fabulous resort, it is not the closest place to stay if you want to be near Hollywood Studios.   I recommend you check out the Yacht Club or Beach Club.  These resorts are just a short boat ride away from Hollywood Studios so you can get a bright and early start during Star Wars Weekends! 

    Not only are the Yacht Club and Beach Club close to Hollywood Studios, they are just a short walk to Epcot.  Also, Stormalong Bay, the shared pool for these 2 resorts, is one of the very best pools around!

    I hope you enjoy your stay in Disney World!
