Hi there, Joanna, and welcome to planDisney.
I'm so excited to hear that you'll be visiting Walt Disney World soon and experiencing the extra pixie-dusted magic of a Disney Deluxe Resort hotel!
Early Theme Park Entry is a fantastic perk, but I have to say, I'm particularly fond of the
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours as well. Be sure to keep an eye on the
Hours & Events Calendar as your trip approaches so you don't miss out on this extra special fun!
Okay, so let's get right to your question about Early Entry. Like Donald Duck, I like to be up at the
quack of dawn and get my magical day started. With this perk, you'll enter a theme park 30 minutes before the park opens to the general public. I like to use this extra time to hop on attractions like
Slinky Dog Dash,
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, and
Remy's Ratatouille Adventure! As a Guest staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you will enter the park through the main entrance just like other visitors. Once inside, look for signs indicating "Resort Guest Early Entry." If you cannot find these signs, feel free to ask a Cast Member for assistance. At this designated checkpoint, you will need to confirm your status as a Resort hotel Guest. A Cast Member will scan your MagicBand+,
Disney MagicMobile Service, or Key to the World card. Once they verify that you are a current Resort hotel Guest, you will gain access to sections of the park that are closed to off-site Guests until the official park opening. This process is super easy and tends to move quickly.
Joanna, to make sure you don't miss out on any of your Early Entry perk, I recommend heading out on the complimentary
Disney transportation about 45 to 30 minutes before Early Entry hours, depending on your theme park and specific Resort hotel.
Thanks for visiting us with your question. You are always welcome to visit us anytime! I'm wishing on a star you'll have the most amazing vacation!
Happy planning,
Shonette
