Welcome Deborah,
Thank you for visiting planDisney with your
Walt Disney World Resort planning question. I am thrilled to hear about your upcoming land and sea adventure. Two weeks of Disney magic sounds absolutely incredible.
I called and spoke with the front desk at the Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando. The nice lady I spoke with thought that they would be able to assist with your request to hold your luggage while on your Disney cruise. She said that it depended on how full the luggage storage was, but seemed pretty positive they should be able to honor your request. She did suggest to notify them at check-in, as they will need to work with management to approve the storage time.
As a backup, there is a company called Hold My Luggage that offers luggage storage at Orlando International Airport and at Port Canaveral. You'll also find that most Disney Cruise Line staterooms offer quite a bit of storage, so you may just want to bring your suitcases with you. The under-the-bed storage can fit around four large suitcases. I've also found that these
Disney Cruise Line packing lists are very helpful in making sure I have the items needed for our cruise.
While at Walt Disney World Resort, please make sure to enjoy the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. Beginning February 28th, you'll find fresh, springtime dishes, gardens and exhibits, live entertainment and my favorite--the topiaries! Each year, I am always amazed at the details and incredible artistry of the
topiaries. They're truly incredible! My family likes to find them all and then pick our favorites.
Enjoy your visit, Deborah! Please let us know if there is anything else that we can assist you with.
Magical Wishes,
Lauren
