Hiya, Calli! Welcome to planDisney!
Thanks for sharing your question with us. Walt Disney World is magical all year round, but I think there’s a little more pixie dust in the air during the winter holiday season. The beautiful decor, special events, and limited-time treats really help turn the Vacation Kingdom of the World into a winter wonderland.
When it comes to making advanced dining reservations, all guests can make them 60 days in advance of their arrival. Guests staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel or an Official Walt Disney World Hotel (like Drury Plaza Hotel Orlando - Disney Springs) can make reservations for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) at the 60-day mark. This is a super helpful perk because it means you can book all your reservations on the same day.
If you are planning to make dining reservations at the Magic Kingdom during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, just remember that you will need a party ticket to enter the Magic Kingdom during party hours.
As you continue to put the finishing touches on your vacation itinerary, make sure you check out the
Disney Parks Blog for a preview of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and other events. Along with a look at the Magic Kingdom’s party plans, you can also learn more about what’s in store for the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays and Jollywood Nights at Hollywood Studios. It’s a great way to stay up-to-date on everything happening in the Disney Parks.
I hope this info is useful, Calli. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!
Magical travels!
Matt
