Hi! We will be staying at Drury Hotel at Disney Springs for three nights, then staying at Old Key West for three nights. What is the best way to move ourselves and our luggage from one hotel to the next. Thanks!

Hi there, Kara! Welcome to planDisney and thanks for stopping by with such a great planning question!

I could not be more excited to hear that you are planning an oh-so-magical adventure at The Most Magical Place on Earth. I absolutely love split stays, where my family and I stay at two (or more!) different Disney Resort hotels during our Walt Disney World Resort vacation, and we do this almost every time we visit. I love experiencing the Resorts' unique theming and taking advantage of the awesome amenities of each Resort. It feels like two vacations in one! Now, let's chat about getting you to the second half of your adventure.

Since Bell Services at Walt Disney World Resort can only transfer luggage from one Disney Resorts Collection Hotel to another (and this does not include the Walt Disney World Official Hotels in Disney Springs), you will have to move your luggage from the Drury Plaza Hotel to Disney's Old Key West Resort. But Hakuna Matata! It means "no worries!" I recommend using the Minnie Van Service via the Lyft app to quickly and easily get from one Resort Hotel to the other in Disney style. There are even up to two complimentary child seats if needed!

I used the Minnie Van Service several times on my last Walt Disney World vacation, and not only was it easy and fast to request a vehicle using the Lyft app, but the vehicles were spotless and large enough for all of my Guests and our luggage. Every driver was incredibly friendly and helpful, and they were able to pick us up and drop us off right at the front door of our Resorts. The service was simply ... Disney!

Once you arrive at Disney's Old Key West Resort, you can drop your luggage off at Bell Services and head out for a day of fun in the theme parks or at the Resort! Then, once your room is ready or when you're back from your magical Disney day, just call Bell Services from your room's phone to have your luggage delivered right to your room. Just be sure that you pack a park bag with everything you may need that day, including medications. I usually pack a swimsuit, in case the mood strikes for a poolside cocktail break, and when I'm feeling the laid-back vibe of Old Key West Resort, it always does! I recommend the Gurgling Suitcase!

I hope this helps, Kara, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable split stay! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way.

You've got a friend in me,
