If we are staying at the Doubletree Suites at Disney Springs, whats the best way to get back after Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party with two toddlers that require car seats? The hotel shuttle goes off normal property hours so it wont be available

    Hiya Melanie,

Welcome back to planDisney! We are excited to continue helping you answer your questions about your upcoming vacation. I cannot believe that we are almost to December and that the Holiday season is upon us. I've always loved going to the Most Magical Place on Earth during the Merriest time of year. Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite events, and seeing it through the eyes of my children makes it even more special.

As a toddler mom, Melanie, I know how important it is to plan for the ride home after a magical day. A sleeping toddler is something you want to avoid disturbing, if possible. When I researched this question, I found reports that on dates with Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, the shuttles from the DoubleTree Suites may run later to accommodate guests attending the party. However, please double-check this with the front desk when you check in. If they do not, your next best alternative, however, is to use a rideshare service. Rideshare services can pick you up from the Ticket and Transportation Center and take you back to the DoubleTree Suites. You can also request a ride with car seats when you schedule the ride.

I hope this is helpful, Melanie. Before I let you go, I wanted to share another option, in case you're interested in exploring it further. The Minnie Van service is one of my favorite ways to travel around Walt Disney World Resort with children. Each Minnie van comes equipped with two car seats, and I love how great it is for after-hours events. Unfortunately, the Minnie Vans do not transport Guests outside of Walt Disney World Resort property, so you wouldn't be able to take it directly to the DoubleTree Suites, but you could take it to Disney Springs. From there, it is about a 1-mile walk between Disney Springs and the DoubleTree Suites, so that is an option if you prefer that. It wouldn't be my chosen option with two toddlers in the evening, but I wanted to share it in case. I personally would lean more towards the rideshare alternative. Please come back and see us if you need anything else.

    Happy Planning,

    Ashley F.
