I am staying at. Dolphins cove resort on aug 18 can I walk to the parks.or what is the best way to get there.

    Greetings, Bonnie!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm so glad you have started to plan the details of your trip to the Happiest Place on Earth! This summer is such an exciting time to visit as the highly-anticipated Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge will be welcoming Guests. I can't wait for the out-of-this-world experiences, attractions, merchandise, and exotic eats and treats this land will offer!

The resort hotel you are staying at is located approximately 1-1.5 miles from the Disneyland Resort, so walking may not be the best option even though it is doable in about 25 minutes. Many hotels around the Disneyland Resort offer shuttle service directly from the hotel to the theme parks for a small fee, so I would definitely contact your hotel directly to see if this option is available. I have utilized shuttles at Good Neighbor Hotels, and it is extremely convenient and usually inexpensive.

Even though you are staying off Disneyland Resort property and are not eligible for Extra Magic Hour early admission, you are eligible for one Magic Morning early admission to Disneyland Park if you purchase a valid 3+ day park ticket prior to arrival. This one hour is so wonderful if you want to experience select attractions with little to no wait time before the park opens to the general public.

I hope this helps, and please return if you have any other questions. May the Force be with you this summer!
