We will be staying at the Dolphin. My 1-year old goes to bed at 7 which limits night activity. I've heard you can see fireworks from Epcot and MGM from the resort. Can we see from our standard room? Do we need to upgrade? Where do we want to be to see?

There are very few 'good' spots to view the fireworks.  However, I would recommend a balcony room, they have an additional fee, its a 'luxury' but watching fireworks on a balcony, sure beats through a window any day. You want to request the following rooms: 3015, 4015,5015, 6015, 7015, 8015. I can't remember which has a balcony and which does not, however they are every other floor after the 4th floor.  You will have the best view of the fireworks at Epcot there are no obstructions to block your view.  Good luck!!  Just be sure to be clear about the room number and the balcony.  Have Fun!!!
