If I am staying at the dolphin and swan with a 10 month old, what would be the easiest way to get to the hotel from the Airport since magical express is not available? Is Minnie’s Van service available? I am trying not to bring or use a car seat.

    Hi, there!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Deana. I'm so glad you stopped by with this great question!

Traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort is always magical, but especially so with a little one in tow. I've made several visits with a baby, and my heart just melts when their sweet little face lights up with joy in the theme parks! Going anywhere with an infant does require some additional planning, though. I totally understand not wanting to lug a car seat to Orlando with you, so I'm happy to chat about your transportation options!

As a Guest of the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel or the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, you'll get to enjoy many benefits like Extra Magic Hours, early access to FastPass+ planning, and convenient proximity to Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios. Unfortunately, a stay at one of these hotels does not include Disney's Magical Express service. Minnie Van Service to and from the Orlando International Airport is also not available for Guests staying at the Walt Disney World Dolphin or Swan Hotels. Not to fret!

Uber and Lyft do not offer car seats appropriate for babies younger than 12-months old, but Mears does! I just spoke with a Mears representative and she said you can request a ride online and indicate that you need a infant car seat there. You can also request an infant car seat when you arrive at Orlando International Airport. Simply let the representative at the Mears taxi podium know that you need one for your baby, and they'll be sure a car arrives equipped with the infant car seat. When you leave your Resort hotel, let the Front Desk know you need a taxi with an infant car seat and they'll make the request to Mears for you!

I hope this was helpful, Deana. Please let me know if you have any other questions about traveling with your little one!
