Guests staying at a Disney Resort hotel can enjoy all the functionalities
MagicBands offer, such as charging food and merchandise purchases to their Guest room during their stay. Visitors staying at hotels that are not owned by Disney, like
Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel, are currently welcome to use MagicBands to enter the theme parks with
valid admission added to their
Disney account, and link all digital content captured by
Disney PhotoPass Service to
My Disney Experience. Please note that if the MagicBand you currently have is older than 2 years, the batteries inside may not be working anymore. If you are unable to use it, you can stop by merchandise locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort to purchase a new one.
planDisney tip: With the recommendation that Guests use cashless transactions during their visit, I hope you are able to explore enhancements that have been made to technology available via the
My Disney Experience mobile app. One of my favorite features is
Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering, which allows you to order ahead at participating locations and pick up your order during a designated arrival window.
