We are staying at the dolphin for 5 nights then going over to the Art of animation for 4 nights. We are a family of 6, will I have to book a car service to take us from the Dolphin to the Art of animation or is there something complimentary?

    Hi there, Kevin!

While you can hop a shuttle to the Parks and to Downtown Disney, there's no direct transportation from the Walt Disney World Dolphin Resort to any of the other Resorts.

What you might want to do, then, is to take one of the complimentary transportation options to one of the Parks, and from there, change to a Disney shuttle bound for Disney's Art of Animation Resort. While this will add some travel time into your daily plan, it will not require any out of pocket expenditure.

You can also, of course, take the pleasant walk to Epcot and hop the Art of Animation bus from there.

    From the Dolphin Web site:

"A comfortable water taxi offers access from the Disney resorts' dock, running approximately every 15 – 20 minutes to and from Epcot® and Disney's Hollywood Studios™. Or you can take a leisurely stroll along a series of walkways that will also lead you to the entrance of these two theme parks.

Disney resort shuttle buses arrive at the main entrance of the Disney hotels approximately every 15 - 20 minutes to transport guests to Magic Kingdom® Park, Disney's Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, Downtown Disney® area, and Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.

As an additional benefit taxi, towncar and limousine transportation is available 24-hours through the Mears Transportation desk, located in the guest services area of the Dolphin. Reservations are required. Click here to make your reservation online. Click here to see our frequently asked questions regarding transportation."

    Have a wonderful time!

    See you later, celebrator,
