We are staying at the Dolphin but would love to visit the Grand Floridian to see the Gingerbread House. What is the earliest time we can visit and what mode of transportation would be best?

Hey, David! You can swing by pretty much any time to see the Gingerbread House - it's in the main building and is easily accessible.

If you'd like to see it fully operational, swing by after 10:00 a.m. You'll be able to buy special desserts and keepsakes from cast members working INSIDE the Gingerbread House. That's also when the smoke stack does its thing. It smells delicious. In fact, one begins to empathize with Hansel and Gretel.

The easiest way to get there is via cab (about $15) or by utilizing park transportation to Magic Kingdom. It's a short monorail ride or boat ride away from there.
