Hey Howdy Hey John and welcome to planDisney!
July is such a great time to be visiting Walt Disney World Resort and can be an epic celebration depending on when you will be visiting. Thank you so much for visiting planDisney and for your question on Will Call tickets. Let's review some scenarios and then get super excited for your trip in a few weeks!
As you had mentioned, gone are the days when you purchase things like tickets and get a physical one. Almost everything with Walt Disney World is electronic and paperless now and almost everything is connected to your
My Disney Experience account. Considering you purchased your tickets and you have them already connected to your account, you should be all set. That being said, I would make sure to have the email confirmation handy just in case you tap into the parks on the day of your visit and they need to verify them for some reason. But as long as you can see your tickets on your account as well as the dates they are active, you should be set.
One thing step to make sure you take is having your
Theme Park Reservations. Once you link your tickets to your My Disney Experience account, you should also have the ability to make these reservations. They are not something you pay for but are needed to get into the parks on the days you are planning for.
If you do plan to visit Walt Disney World in early July around the 4th, I would make sure to try to get into Magic Kingdom to view the firework show. Recently Disney has updated the
park calendar and noted the return of
Disney Celebrate America - A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky nighttime show to celebrate our Independence Day! This show is scheduled for the 3rd and 4th and is a firework show you will not want to miss!
The other big change is happening right now over at EPCOT.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind recently opened up on May 27th and has been a huge hit to theme park goers in EPCOT. This epic attraction is an immersive experience helping our friends save the galaxy, again. Another item you will want to put on your "Must-Do" list!
Best of luck with your continued planning for your trip in a few weeks and if you have any further questions, please feel free to let us know, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
