    We are staying at the Dolphin hotel. How to we get to the Animal Kingdom....can we walk or is it too far from the dollphin hotel? Also the parking is $9 a day at the Dolphin andy tips on how to avoid this when we are driving?

    Hi Jennifer,

    To get to Animal Kingdom from the Swan and Dolphin Resort, you should take a bus headed to the park from your resort.  There is a bus stop located at your resort (the receptionist who helps you check into your room will show you where it is located on a resort map).  Buses run every 15-20 minutes when the parks are open.  It is not possible to walk to Animal Kingdom from the Dolphin, however.

    As for avoiding the daily parking charge at the Swan and Dolphin, unfortunately, I don't have any tips or ticks to share, other than continuing to check for a better rate (I have been successful with some great AAA rates at the Swan and Dolphin) to help offset the fee.  While the Swan and Dolphin are located on Disney property, they are not owned by Disney. 

    The Swan and Dolphin share an amazing location near Disney's BoardWalk.  The property is located within walking distance (or short boat ride) from both Epcot and Hollywood Studios.  The pool area is magnificent, and the resort have some outstanding dining options.  I think you will be very happy with your decision!
