We are staying at the DLH next month for my birthday. Does the hotel allow guests to use pool after checking-out?

    Hi, Karen!

There’s no better place to spend your birthday than “The Happiest Place on Earth!” and the Disneyland Hotel is one of my favorites. I love the chic furnishings and sprinkling of pixie dust in the etched wooden headboards.  With the flip of a switch we can enjoy an in-room music and “fireworks” show—it’s the perfect way to end a magical day in the theme parks!

Unfortunately, since access to the gated pools at the Disneyland Hotel requires a valid room key for entry, you won’t be able to visit them after the 11:00 a.m. checkout time on your last day. However, I highly recommend that you make time to visit the pool area at the hotel sometime during your stay. The Monorail Slide Pool is like an attraction in and of itself! Trader Sam’s—Enchanted Tiki Bar, located adjacent to the pools, is a fun place to grab a birthday cocktail or bite to eat.

I hope this information is helpful, Karen. Don’t forget to stop by City Hall on your way into Disneyland Park to pick up a complimentary birthday button to celebrate your special day!

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
