Hello: - If we are staying at a Dland hotel and want to visit the park Tue/Wed, do we need to stay Mon/Tue or Tue/Wed nights? - If staying elsewhere Wed night, how long can we leave our car parked at the Disney hotel on Wed? Until park closing or earlier?

    Hiya, Steve!

Thank you for sending this Disneyland Resort vacation planning question to us hEAR at planDisney!

Oh boy! You're staying at one of my favorite hotels, the iconic (ear-conic?) Disneyland Hotel! Be sure to have a look around the different lobbies in each building - there's a fantastic model of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad in the Frontier Tower, and so much fun memorabilia in the hallway off the main lobby.

This is a great question with an even better answer - the choice is up to you! You can have your first Disney day be your check-in date or get up, check out of your room on Wednesday, and then go hang out with Mickey and all of his pals. It truly doesn't matter, as long as you're happy.

I'm very pleased to share that when you stay at a Disneyland Resort Hotel, you're a Guest of that hotel all day - from the minute you arrive until you've said your final goodbye. Even if you don't have your room keys yet, or if you've already checked out of your Guestroom, you're more than welcome to check your bags at the Luggage Services desk, keep your car parked in the hotel parking lot until you're done for the day, and even use the fitness facilities and swim in the hotel's gorgeous pools! (There's even a changing room and shower area in the pool deck, so be sure to pack your swim stuff in a carry-on!)

Bonus Tip: Guests who stayed in a Club Level room even have the benefit of utilizing the E-Ticket Lounge on their check-out day up until it closes for that night.

I hope that this helped to clEAR your question up, Steve! Be sure to follow the official planDisney Panel Instagram account for even more tips and tricks. And if you have any more Disneyland Resort vacation planning questions, We're All Ears!
