We are staying at Disneyworld in September. I will also have my granddaughter who is very much into drawing. My plan was to take her to Disney Quest where she could do the animation but they are closing. Is there anywhere else, if we are not staying at AOA

    Hello, Walter,

Thank you for sending your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  It sounds like you have a wonderful trip planned with your granddaughter for later this year; I'm sure you will both make so many incredible memories!  To help your daughter take a "mini" class in animation, she is welcome to stop by Disney's Art of Animation Resort to take one of the classes.  As your trip draws closer, you could contact the resort directly to inquire about the classes by calling (407) 938-7000.

Similarly, there may be demonstrations at the Art of Disney at Epcot as well as the Art of Disney at Disney Springs. When you are at any of the theme parks, you could stop by Guest Relations to ask them to inquire on your behalf about any scheduled demonstrations.

I'd also like to share with you that YouTube has videos of Disney animators (from the now closed Magic of Disney Animation attraction at Disney's Hollywood Studios) teaching viewers how to draw popular Disney characters; just search for How to Draw Disney and look for the blue square with a D in it to know it is a Disney Parks video.

Wishing you a magical trip!  If we can help with any further questions, please let us know. -Kara
