Hi Natalie,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I recently stayed at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort and had this exact situation, so I have some thoughts for you.
First and foremost, always check with the Cast Members at your resort's front desk. Disney’s All-Star Resorts share buses at many times of the year, so the Cast Members will be able to give you an accurate sense of when you need to be at the bus stop to arrive at Epcot in time for your reservation. It’s been my experience that there are usually early buses to accommodate Guests with early breakfast plans, so you may find that there are buses running earlier than expected. Your resort Cast Members can help you determine the best plan to get you there on time.
Also, remember that the security line at Epcot will likely be busy close to park opening, so factor in some extra time for that, and ask if there is a special line for Guests with early dining reservations.
As for driving, that may be a better option if you have your car with you. My family usually drives to Walt Disney World, and we drive to all the theme parks. A great perk of being a Walt Disney World Resort hotel Guest is that
theme park self-parking is included; as you drive into each park, a Cast Member will scan your magic band to confirm you are an on-site Guest and then will wave you through.
Natalie, enjoy your breakfast and your time at Epcot. One of my favorite things to do in all of Walt Disney World is to wander through the World Showcase; we are always stumbling upon new experiences and snacks, and it’s wonderful to chat with the Cast Members there, many of whom are cultural representatives and have fabulous stories to share about their countries and traditions.
Wishing you a magical vacation,
Robyn
