Hey there, Amy! Welcome to planDisney!

Your magical visit to Walt Disney World is only a week away! Soon you’ll be whisked away into the magic of Disney like Aladdin and Jasmine on their magic carpet ride! With The World’s Most Magical Celebration in full swing, now is a fantastic time for a Disney Vacation. Not that there is ever a bad time for a Disney Vacation!

Amy, you are free to have a non-Guest pick you up from Disney’s All-Star Music Resort. With the rising popularity of rideshare services, I have noticed more Guests on my visits catching an Uber or Lyft to spend some time outside of the “bubble”. There are also times when you want to share the magic of your Disney Resort with a local friend or family member! On our Disney Vacations, my family enjoys inviting our local friends to spend a little time catching up with us at our Disney Resort. Whether it be a friend or rideshare service, everyone is required to check in at the Resort Security station with the Cast Member. To expedite this process, I recommend sending your ride a text with the address of the resort, and a quick note of where you’ll be located for the pickup. This note will help evidence to the Security Cast Member that they have a valid reason for gaining access to the resort and ensures that you get to jet off with your ride!

I hope this helps, Amy! The magic awaits!

You’ve got a friend in me,
