Hello, we are going to be staying at Disney's Saratoga Springs with our 5YO on May 14th - 21st this year. I've read some reviews that say Saratoga is far from the parks and some buildings are better than others. Can you advise which building would be bes

    Hello Nikki,

I know Saratoga Springs Resort (SSR) gets mixed reviews. But my family really enjoyed our stay there last November. There are tons of activities at the Community Hall that will keep your family occupied, even when you are not in the Theme Parks.

SSR is expansive. So that may make a difference in what building you would want to request.

My family relies heavily on Disney transportation. Last fall, had a room with a water view in "The Springs." We were very close to the bus stop, the pool, Carriage House (check in), and both The Turf Club Bar and Grill and The Artist's Palette.

Now, if you want don't mind being a bit further from the action at SSR, you can request a room in "Congress Park." There you'll get not only a fantastic view of Downtown Disney (DD), but you'll have easy access to the Pedestrian Walkway to the shops and restaurants at DD. Rooms 1500-1836 are close to a bus stop as well. But you will have a longer walk to the Resort lobby.

I hope you and your family have a wonderful time at SSR. We loved it there. I hope you will too!

Meet the Panelist: Monina, Ohio

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
