We are staying at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside over Easter weekend and will be taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours at Animal Kingdom which start at 7am. How early is Transportation & what time should we plan on being ready for the bus? Thanks!

Hi Lisa! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Are you over-the-moon excited for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation next month? I bet you are! You are visiting at such a fun time of year with so many magical spring activities going on. As I sit bundled up in my sweater, I can't help but let my mind daydream about warmer weather and tasty treats at events like the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival!

The complimentary Disney Resort hotel bus transportation begins 45 minutes prior to park opening, so you are looking at about 6:15 a.m. for a 7 a.m. opening at Disney's Animal Kingdom. Personally, I like to be at the theme park as early as possible, ready to take advantage of every second of Extra Magic Hours. I would make my way to the bus stop at 6 a.m. to wait for the first bus to come. Since the opening of Pandora - The World of Avatar, Disney's Animal Kingdom has been extra popular, and with it being a holiday weekend with Extra Magic Hours, there's a good chance a lot of people are going to be doing the same thing as you. The earlier you get there, the more time you'll have to enjoy a less-crowded theme park!

Enjoy your upcoming vacation, Lisa! Please visit us again with any other questions you may have!
