Hi, Scott!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for your question about
Disney’s Paradise Pier Hotel! The rooms there are decorated with bright and airy seaside-inspired furnishings (my kids love the beach ball pillows on the beds!), and the property is just a hop, skip and a jump to the Downtown Disney District.
The quickest
walking route to the theme park entrances is to leave via the hotel’s back exit, turn right, and then follow the walkway toward the Disneyland Hotel. There is a security checkpoint for all Guests at the entrance of the
Downtown Disney District. After that, continue walking straight through the Downtown Disney District, which will lead to the Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park main entrances. The walk usually takes me about 10-15 minutes, but time spent at the security checkpoint can vary.
You can also choose to board the
Disneyland Monorail at the Downtown Disney District station near The LEGO Store. It transports Guests right inside Disneyland Park, so you would step off the monorail in Tomorrowland.
I hope this information is helpful, Scott. Please write back with any other planning questions you can dream of as your
Disneyland Resort vacation approaches!
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
