Hey there, Kevin! Welcome back to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with such a great question.
With its oh-so-spacious rooms, beautiful grounds, great dining options and location within a short, scenic boat ride of Disney Springs,
Disney's Old Key West Resort makes the most magical home away from home. Add in the perk of
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours, and it's practically perfect in every way!
I'm so excited to hear that you plan on taking advantage of the extra magic of Extended Evening Hours, which is a benefit exclusively for Guests staying at a Disney Deluxe Resort Hotel. So, unfortunately, if your friends are not staying at a Deluxe Resort, they will be guided towards the exit and expected to leave EPCOT at the end of regular park hours.
While you're enjoying your extra hours at EPCOT, your friends can head to
Disney Springs for some late-night fun! My wife and I love grabbing a cocktail, listening to live music and doing some late-night shopping. Or if they want to stay in EPCOT past park closing, they can hop in line for an open attraction right before the park closes. Typically, as long as you enter the line before the park closes, you can still ride, even if the park is closed by the time you ride. Wishing you all an enchanting evening!
While this may not have been the answer you were hoping for, Kevin, I hope it was helpful! Please feel free to stop by any time with any questions you may have.
You've got a friend in me,
Mandy
